In honor of #TranceGiving, aka Dreamstate SoCal 2016, we want attendees to have the opportunity to get to know the talent who will be our “Trancegiving Tour Guides”. Each week, we will feature bio’s of four Dreamstate DJ’s as well as a set from one of their latest events or some recent releases so you can get to know them better. Next in our series is… Christopher Lawrence!

Last year’s inaugural Dreamstate event in California brought thousands of trance fans together and delivered an unmatched musical journey. This year’s Dreamstate SoCal will transport passionate fans to another dimension over the two-day event, featuring an expanded four stage experience and globally acclaimed artists including Christopher Lawrence.

Christopher Lawrence is at it again, this time teaming up with No Comment for a superb new track titled Horizon which is a Featured Banner release on Beatport’s Psy-Trance front page and just leaped to #16 on Beatport’s Psy-Trance Singles chart.

Christopher Lawrence is excited to announce the launch of Pharmacy Radio. It is an official re-branding of his hugely popular radio show Rush Hour that recently celebrated it’s 100th episode.

How do you properly prepare for an 8-hour open-to-close set? That is the question I had to ask myself in the lead up to a massive set from Fleming & Lawrence at Avalon Hollywood…

For me, prepping takes the form of a midday nap, followed by a decent sized meal and a cup of coffee. That night, I wanted make sure that there was no reason why I wouldn’t make it through the epic journey. In reality I know myself, once I hear the beats and feel the vibes, the ambiance will propel and entice me and the night will move so quickly that I wouldn’t have time to think about being tired. With the high energy and deep dark sounds I had heard from Fleming & Lawrence in the past, I already knew what to expect and was beyond excited to attend. I also brought along my friend who does not usually listening to electronic music but was open and willing to give it a go.

Following a truly memorable (arguably one of the best) sets from Dreamstate Trance Music Festival this summer in Brooklyn, John 00 Fleming is back, this time with the highly regarded Christopher Lawrence, who also happens to be his best friend. Both J00F and Christopher Lawrence are known for their progressive and psy-trance roots, and together they have shifted to a harder, up tempo, tech-trance sound which is atypical for the genre. They played B2B at Dreamstate in San Francisco in January, featuring tracks by Vini Vici and Astrix, which contributed to the distinct dark, techno driven trance vibes that made it one of the crowd favorites of the weekend. John and Christopher are both touring the U.S., playing B2B sets next in Seattle and Orlando.
